Beautiful Triskele Symbol Plate.  The triskele symbol comes from the Greek word "triskeles" meaning "three legs". It has featured as a symbol in many different countries. In Ireland it has been found carved in the stone in the Neolithic passage tomb in Newgrange.  It was then later associated as a Celtic symbol, and is found in a lot of Celtic art and drawings.  It has different meanings in spirituality, religion and paganism.  It is based on the concept of three's whether that is birth, life and rebirth or the the Holy Trinity to name but a few meanings.
